I was thinking to make a thread about this too, but since you already did i will just give an idea , since everyone here has a different time zone , it should be something like

It could be confusing to set some time zone but can be hard to do this alternative i'm talking about.

Let's see what the staff will say.

A good idea, further I think it should be toggleable within the usual settings dialog for the shoutbox.
