it depends on what genre you like, I started with shonen, so I recommend naruto (a classic), hunterxhunter, jujutsu kaisen for example.
If you want to cry there is clannad, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso and charlotte (which is about powers too).

I really really recommend watching Gurrenn Lagann, best big robot anime by far!
