My EVGA power supply's fan started making weird noises (but magically stopped doing so the moment I googled "evga warranty") and I looked around for other psu manufacturers, and one called "be quiet!" happens to have what I need, if only a little too expensive for my liking. They also manufacture "quiet "pc fans and I'm not sure if that would even matter in an itx system (which are known to be quite loud).
Has anybody here used "be quiet!" products? Are they good? Why? Should I look elsewhere for psu and fan replacement?

Honestly not heard of them I'm afraid. I've pretty much always replaced a PSU when it starts making weird noises, which isn't often thankfully. As long as it's a good quality one in the first place, they tend to last.

Just stick with EVGA, they're my brand and personally, you know the score with those guys

That's the name "BeQuiet" of the PSU? That's sounds like Chinese shit. I'd rather go with EVGA with something GOLD or above. And keep them clean. Dust them, vaccuum - that sort of thing.
That's the real reason they usually fail.
